Guest Services Representative

Position Summary

It’s time to have a summer that you will never forget by joining the Gordon Lodge team for the 2021 season. You will experience Bailey’s Harbor’s premier destination that has been welcoming visitors for nearly a century. Gordon Lodge is currently seeking an energetic, friendly, reliable, upbeat Guest Service Representatives.

Responsibilities + Duties

  • Assisting in all Guest Service areas including guest relations, front desk daily operations, and reservations ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience
  • Assisting guests with inquiries for various matters such as Door County to dos and restaurant advice
  • Maintain a collaborative workplace by assisting co-workers and working in a team environment while maintaining positive working relationships.

Reports to

Guest Service Manager and Rooms Division Manager

Qualifications + Skills

Qualified individuals will be able to work in a fast paced, energetic atmosphere while providing excellent guest service. They must believe in the importance of hospitality and customer service. Qualified individuals will be reliable, punctual, friendly, and have exceptional problem solving skills. They must have the ability to work alone and stay on task as well as work in a team.

  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Possess good time management and organizational skills
  • Must be driven and volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked
  • When things change, you can roll with the punches and think fast and effectively on your feet
  • Conflict resolution experience
  • Basic computer skills are necessary

Schedule / Hours / Compensation

  • This can be a full or part time, seasonal job (Mid May-October)
  • Weekend and holiday hours are required
  • Schedule is subject to change based on Gordon Lodge events and hours of operations
  • Hourly compensation based on experience, $12-$14/hr., with bonus opportunities
