Full Time PM Dishwasher

Position Summary

Have a summer that you will never forget by joining the Gordon Lodge team for the 2021 season. You will experience Bailey’s Harbor’s premier destination that has been welcoming visitors for nearly a century. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the kitchen and operate the dish washing machine in a safe, accident- free manner.

Responsibilities + Duties

  • Set up station according to Chef’s guidelines
  • Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware
  • Preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking cook stations
  • Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled
  • Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans
  • Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed
  • Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures

Executive Chef

Qualifications  + Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimal work experience
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds
  • Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
  • Knowledge of applicable safety and sanitation procedures
  • Must arrive to work on time

Schedule / Hours / Compensation

  • This is a full time or part time, seasonal job [May – October]
  • Weekend hours are required
  • Nighttime hours are required
  • Holiday hours are required
  • Schedule is subject to change based on Gordon Lodge events and hours of operations
  • Hourly compensation based on experience with bonus opportunity
